Unlike what most people in the West think, 女体盛り (Nyotaimori, on a woman) or 男体盛り (Nantaimori, on a man) is not something that's commonplace in Japan. (There's a bizarre tendency in the West to depict Japanese customs as strange, but that's another can of worms for another day).

In fact, the vast majority of Japanese will have never seen nyotaimori. It is usually thought of as an activity that falls within the province of those associated with fuzoku (prostitution) and organized crime, although even in those two realms, it's far less popular (not that it was every super popular) compared to the 80s or early 90s.

To be honest, I think of it in much the same way as I think of tattoos - something associated with organized crime. But that's because of my cultural upbringing. Obviously nyotaimori will not have the same image associated with in in the West.

To be honest its not for me.

I dont really like sushi, i dont like the literal objectification of people and Im not into food sex, it always seemed to me like an incentive to kiss and lick the body and i dont require any such incentive so it seems like the food is just in the way.

Seems like there are better food choices even if you do enjoy this sort of play.
