Guys, what do you think about hickeys on the thighs?

I love giving my boyfriend hickies but I want to avoid his neck because his parents are strict about that stuff. I tried doing it on his chest but it didn't work that well. He doesn't have that much fleshy, soft skin the suck on, so I heard thighs are an easy option. Do guys like that? Also, are there any other good, easy spots for hickies other than the neck?
