What do you think about people who seek procreation not via sexual intercourse but via sperm banks or egg banks instead and why take that route?

Sexual intercourse is not the only way to procreate. People can procreate by not having sex. They could seek the services of sperm or egg banks. Do you think there is a desire to procreate using this method due to some just don't like the idea of sharing their body with other people but like to be a mother or father? In essence, you'd still be sharing your body with theirs, just not directly as the sperm or egg was parr of their body.

Please thoroughly share your views on procreation via sperm banks and egg banks as an alterative to sexual intercourse! Do you think this method offers more benefits or drawbacks compared to sexual intercourse?

Wanting to procreate is a human instinct. It’s about making sure your DNA line continues down the line. This is a normal human drive.

You can live this drive by having a loving couple and make babies together, that’s often the best way as the baby is better cared for.

That does not mean that other people that don’t live in a couple situation don’t have this drive. Women need sperm w/o the attached man, either alone or in a couple and a single man or a gay couple needs a surrogate mother or eggs.

There’s as much a drive on the receiving side as on the donating side, next to wanting genuinely to help out people that need help with this.

Even without sex. Sex is just one of the ways to spread your DNA, as much for men as for women. Women are simply more picky about picking the right DNA as they have a much higher investment to make with their nine months baby inside concept.

Being a sperm donor is not without risks. It is not settled law regarding paternity and a "mother" can, by law, still demand child support from a sperm donor. Don't kid yourself.

There have been single men who have been adoptive dads. It is just less common. I do agree that both the man and woman should be the adoptive parents. Homosexual couples shouldn't have adoptive children.

They may have good reasons for it and I don't necessarily find it a problem per se if God allows it. However, It offers more drawbacks than benefits. Sexual intercourse isn't the way of just getting kids, it's having intercourse and children for the right reasons. People have sex for the benefit instead of love anyway. People use sex to have kids because they just want kids anyway. Adoption is now a business instead of a place to give children a home and families a new member of the family. So it kind of makes sense as to why one would desperately want to go with IVF in the first place. I just think that it would be better to accept God's will for one's life. If he wants to open their womb then one must be in obedience. And many try to play 'god' in their lives if not just play God out for a fool like he doesn't know your true intent.

I believe that it's often done to replace Godly fruitation of not just the spirit but manifested into the physical realm and God's glory. I do believe overall many do it for ungodly reasons anyway. As much as it would be nice to have children, it's also scary and sad many use sex to destroy, hurt, and damage people. My stance on this is just the same for surrogacy. Unless one truly doesn't have a choice, it's just not smart in my opinion and something can always go wrong. I say that the spiritual risk doesn't out weight the emotional fulfillment and physical benefits. You never know who's child your bringing into this world anyway.

Yeah. I stayed away from using adoption agencies due to I wanted it to be procreative, which means shared DNA and biologically their children. I do agree that adopted children can be loved and protected by their adopted parents even if they aren't their biological children.

Adoption is brutal. I was adopted and I can tell you most of the extended family will never see you as a "real" member of the family.

@KrakenAttackin I know. I find it sad that this is the case. I believe that once you choose your children, they're still yours even if not biological. I have family members who were adopted also or were from other fathers and mothers and got treated that way too because they lacked certain family features. Really messed up. To me, it doesn't matter. Your family. Unless God says otherwise, I would not change my opinion just because other family members have a chip on their shoulder. Never understood that 'pure blood' nonsense.

Yes. I asked this question because people like to separate the procreative form of sex from the unitive form of sex but hardly vice versa. In other words, people want sexual intercourse without procreation but hardly ever want procreation without sexual intercourse.

Maybe because of health issues, a girl can donate her eggs for her relatives or family that really want it. Some girls I know collected her eggs before going through cancer therapy. So that might be the case
