What do you think an asexual is and what are your thoughts on them?

Its not about thinking what thez are, its verz clearly defined: a person without sexual desire.

Now about that, i think it is an interesting phenomenon. If those people truly have no sexual desire it proves something integral to understanding sexuality; it is not entirely genetic. But as i said that requires them to be really asexual, and im skeptical that "true asexualists" exist.

I often thought I was one but I'm not, mine is just a general repulsion towards sex while asexuals are completely uninterested in it.
I'm indifferent to them, but I do recognize that by cutting off sex they do a good thing as it's the biggest problematic in many relationship, mine included.

There are a lot of different kinds of asexuals, my experience is that my aversion to sex makes it extremely difficult to date since it makes women feel undesirable, which keeps me feeling very isolated since I feel as though I'm missing a huge part of human experience

I actually don't think it's a real thing. They aren't supposed to care for sex. Or have a desire for it. Yet all the ones I've talked to say they masturbate or have been in sexual relationships and wnated to sleep with the person... So yeah I think it's just a bullshit thing

I assure you it's a real thing, I'm just not sure if it's a natural predisposition or a result of mental illness. Of course there will be incels who use it as an excuse why they can't get laid though

Of course. But the ones I talked 2 are all sane people. So from them it just seems super fake and annoying

Mentally ill people often seem sane and don't like to talk about it, or even having been mentally ill in the past can cause lasting effects. Asexuality is extremely rare and isn't understood very well since it's kind of a taboo topic, they're probably confused about it themselves and can't explain it well (if they even are at all)

A person without a sex drive or sexual attraction... I'm envious of them, would. Be less likely to get into a relationship just for the possibility of sex
