  • "Intestinal vaginoplasty uses a section of the sigmoid colon to create the neovagina. This is usually done as laparoscopic surgery. Laparoscopic surgery is also often referred to as minimally invasive or keyhole surgery because there is only a small incision through the skin. For this surgery, a small piece of colon is detached and then rotated down to become the lining of the vagina. Then the surrounding colon is stitched together to restore its function.

There have been some criticisms that intestinal vaginoplasty can lead to excess mucus in the vagina and mucus with an unpleasant smell. However, these side effects have not been consistently reported.

Some people see the mucus production by the intestinal tissue as an advantage. The healthy vaginal lining is also mucus-producing and self-lubricating. The colon segment is also stretchy in a way that is more similar to the regular vaginal lining than other tissue options used to line the neovagina. "

"Peritoneal vaginoplasty is also referred to as the Luohu operation. It uses the lining of the abdominal cavity, the peritoneum, to create the vagina. Like intestinal vaginoplasty, peritoneal vaginoplasty is usually a laparoscopic procedure.

Patients who have this procedure do not necessarily need to use dilation to maintain their vaginal opening. That is particularly true if they are having regular sexual intercourse.

There is a risk of rectovaginal fistula with peritoneal vaginoplasty and with other types of vaginoplasty. A rectovaginal fistula is when the rectum and vagina have a hole between them. Fistulas are usually treatable with surgery.

The McIndoe technique, McIndoe procedure, or McIndoe vaginoplasty are quite different from the peritoneal and intestinal vaginoplasty procedures. Unlike with peritoneal and intestinal vaginoplasties, the McIndoe technique does not require abdominal surgery to create the lining.

Instead, McIndoe vaginoplasty lines the vagina with a skin graft. That skin graft is placed on a vaginal mold and then placed into the space that has been opened to become the vagina. In peritoneal and intestinal vaginoplasty, no such mold is used. The mold is used consistently for the first several months after surgery (removing it for regular cleaning) in order to promote healing of the vagina into an open cavity suitable for intercourse.

Unlike the peritoneum and the intestine, the skin is not a mucosal tissue. Therefore, it does not self lubricate. This also increases the risk that the vaginal opening will close. Because of that, those who have a McIndoe procedure, and do not have regular sexual intercourse, will need to commit to dilating their vaginas for the rest of their lives.

Buccal mucosa is the tissue lining the mouth. It is quite similar to the lining of the vagina. Both tissues are hairless and create mucus. Therefore, in some ways, it is an ideal lining for a neovagina created during vaginoplasty.

However, buccal vaginoplasties are not as common as other vaginoplasty procedures for several reasons. Only a relatively small area of tissue is available. People may be concerned about side effects in the mouth and cheek. In addition, the inside of the mouth is not an area most gynecologists are used to working on. Therefore, they may have to collaborate with facial surgeons in order to harvest tissue appropriately.

Penile inversion vaginoplasty is only used in transgender women. In this procedure, the skin from the outside of the penis is removed and inverted to create the lining of the vagina. The head of the penis is also reshaped to create a clitoris. Finally, scrotal skin is used to create the labia majora and minora.

The disadvantages of this procedure are similar to those when the skin is used for a McIndoe vaginoplasty. Hair must be fully removed to make certain there is no hair growing on the inside of the vagina. The vagina requires a lifetime of dilation for maintenance. It is also not self-lubricating.

Although only transgender women or individuals can get a penile inversion vaginoplasty, that is not the only type of vaginoplasty they can get. These patients may also be offered an intestinal vaginoplasty either as a primary surgery or if they need a surgical revision. At least one transgender woman or individual has also had a peritoneal vaginoplasty, but they are not widely available for this population."

Lack of self-lubrication is a big one, but there are natural women who have issues with that as they age, so that's not a giveaway or anything. That said, anyone that has had anal sex with a woman knows that a colon and vagina are not the same texture, so that technique and the skin techniques seem pretty telling.

    • What an scientific abomination.

    • @DaveJord This procedure (well... THESE) weren't developed overnight. I am curious how many manhours went into... essentially designing these processes. Clearly talented surgeons... nothing better to work on?

    • @boopboopbeep. I have often asked that question? Was it to advance science? Or, was really to ease tje emotional pain and trauma of the patent? Or, was it a means to making a shit ton of money? I mean all. tje horomne treatments, counseling sessions, medicine, hospital stay... I mean it ain't cheap. Mayne it's why Bush was against stemcell research! 😆 🤣 😂

  • Well there’s a big difference but first of all there is no such thing as a cis woman or a trans woman. Its either a she or a he, a man or a woman!

A woman has a real functional vagina that can get wet naturally to accept the penis and the genetics to back it up. A woman with a real vagina also has a functional reproductive system at the end consisting of a cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries for starters

A man either has a penis with a prostate gland, Cowper‘s gland, seminal vesicles, vas deferens, epididymis, and testicles, or a doctor who likes to play Frankenstein who should have their license revoked has butchered a man’s body to somewhat appear as a woman but he is still a guy and always will be.

  • The difference is simple, and I should not have to say it out loud, a cis woman is a make-believe thing. There is no such thing as cis gender... a cis woman is a woman. Cis is a made-up term that holds no real meaning. It's a way of programing normal and mentally stable people, which we referred to throughout history as men and woman, somehow mean less... or a way of redefining gender to appease people that are suffering from a mental disorder feel more valid.

Trans gender woman is not a real woman. There is no transgender, you are assigned your gender at birth... the fact that you do not like that is a different problem.

But the real and true difference is that Transgender people will now be diagnosed with "gender dysphoria," which means emotional stress related to gender identity.

So, the real difference is this, a cis woman is not suffering from a mental illness or disorder. They just using the cis term as means to be sensitive to the mental illness and appease or make those suffering from gender dysphoria feel more comfortable.

But cis is not really a thing, unless you believe in that type of make-believe BS, it's like comparing the tooth fairy to tinker bell. It's like a debate you cannot have, unless it with a 3rd grader, or you actually believe that the tooth or tinker bell are real.

Bottom line the term cis, is meant to reenforce this idea that you get to decide what gender you are... sure you can identify with being a chipmunk, but you aren't... and I am not going to refer to myself as a chip-man as a means to reenforce your identity as a chipmunk.

Why? Because no mentally sound person could honestly expect someone else to really believe they were a chipmunk. Or expect someone to pretend they were a chipmunk when all know it's impossible.

    • You didn’t really answer my question about the genitalia

    • I can't answer the question, because I don't believe in terms like cisgender. It's not a real thing so I can only talk about it as if I am comparing unicorns to horses. A biological woman's vagina is like a horse, and trans womans would be like unicorns. Meaning its a make-believe thing that does not really exist. I mean I could make a cake that looks like a vagina, but it's not a real vagina, is it? No, it's a cake that just looks like one.

  • There is no similarity between the two.
An inverted (inside out) penis is just a dry tube. It has no introitus, rugae or cervix. It is not self lubricating or responsive. There is no internal clitoral structure surrounding it. A trans"woman" can't orgasm from clitoral or penetrative sex.

  • The latter honestly strikes me as more of a stab wound and it seems kind of psycho to try to have sex with it. But if other people don't see it that way, it doesn't seem like it should be any of my business.

  • Simple, a real woman's vagina is self lubricating, designed to take a penis and push out a baby.. She has sensation, can orgasm.. A trannies wound needs to be dilated, has none of the sensation a woman has, they cannot have children or orgasms, and bottom line, by definition alone it's not a vagina. It's a lie.. It's disgusting..

OH and cis is a slur invented by a prolific child rapist. So let's stick with normal as the correct term for a woman born with a vagina, and has 2 x chromosomes..

  • The transgender "vagina" isn't a real vagina. Real vagina all they way.

  • One was born with theirs, the other went through an awful lot of trouble to get theirs.

  • One is real and natural and the other is FAKE.

  • 1 is a vagina and the other is a penis turned inside out that is still attached to a dude.
