Demisexuality is a form of Asexuality where you only feel sexual attraction to a person you have a deep connection to.
finding someone attractive and being attracted to them are not mutually exclusive. You can say someone is attractive but also not be attracted to them. So if you don’t find yourself attracted to the same gender then you’re straight. I’ve always thought of Demi and Ace to be a form of attachment sexuality. Like it tells how you’re sexually attracted to someone but being straight/gay/bi/pan/etc is who you’re attracted to.

No way hosay. A demisexual is a person who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with someone. It's more commonly seen in but by no means confined to romantic relationships
