What does it mean if a guy starts breathing quickly while hugging you?

My male colleague has been helping me a lot over the last four months with a massive problem. When I get upset he hugs me. I wasn't feeling good yesterday and was a little upset to he hugged me after work. I noticed that he was breathing quite quickly. Does that fast breathing mean anything?

Maybe he has asthma and your perfume/shampoo/whatever is triggering a reaction. Ask him does he need to get his inhaler.

It might mean that he is attracted to you and he got nervous while hugging you.
