Really you don’t need to do much other than some basic hygiene, watch you diet, have a poo trip earlier on.
personally a poop a few hours before, then a shower together and a good wash together.

My girlfriend and I have been doing anal regularly for years and she stopped using enemas a long time ago because they are more trouble than they are worth. Aside from the obvious effort and hassle involved, they often end up making a mess rather than preventing one. Some of the liquid inevitably remains in there and comes out during anal sex, and it's not clear if you know what I mean.
If you're going to do anal regularly, eventually there will be some poop involved, but for us it is very uncommon and not a big deal when it happens. I just grab a towel and clean up and then get back to business.
Honestly, nothing. The first times I did enemas too but I quickly learned that it's not really needed and just unnecessary work and a mood killer.
