Usually a bunch of hints, reassurance. That kind of thing. I gotta be 200% sure, and down for it myself. Mutual consent is everything.
But being a bit demi, I usually just need qualify time for awhile beforehand.
Unfortunately I've been pressured into sex before I was ready once, which helped me realize more of my boundaries.
It'll usually happen eventually-- I'd just rather someone say they're my girlfriend rather than playing games. Sex can take a backseat until then.
