Well, honestly, an open relationship seem to be a very honest form of a relationship. In a open relationship, you don't have any big obligations to your partner so you have a very significant amount of freedom, plus if both parties agree then their is also this trust that builds between them. But it can also be risky because at some point it is possible for someone to develop really romantic feelings and then they would want the other to only be with them and no one else. But if such situation never occurs, then in the end an open relationship has many benefits.
