I just heard about this yesterday. It’s a BDSM idea. It’s where the dominant traces the sub’s skin with a knife. They, of course, do not actually cut them with the knife. I’m not sure how I feel about this one. It’s a way to create suspense. What is your opinion on this?

I've done it. You have to be very careful. It can lead to serious injury if you don't know what you're doing. My ex got off on the fear that comes with using it as part of CNC. There are tricks you can use to make it safer, but you still have to have a great deal of control.
