If you had to choose one main reason for watching it what would it be for you?

I used to watch it but stopped because 1. The industry is unethical
2. How misogynistic hetero porn is
3. It sort of introduced me to and let me indulge in my unhealthiest fantasies
4. I used porn as an escape from actually dealing with my own problems that I really needed to deal with
5. All of the above made me hate myself and I was tired of hating myself because I knew I was a better person than doing things I felt were wrong

I first started watching it regularly at 14 just because I wanted to see naked women. I really wish I’d just waited to see one in real life. Porn made my teen/early 20s years horrible (along with other things but it was ethically the worst thing I did) and I’ve been much happier since quitting.

If I'm really in a pinch, I use porn to get in the mood for masturbation. Usually I don't really need it, but sometimes I just lack the motivation and inspiration to get myself off, so it helps to "set the mood" so to speak.
