What makes a woman a "slut"?

There are people, guys in particular, who think any unmarried, non-virgin is a slut. They think sexually active women are sluts. I strongly disagree.

My definition of slut is a woman who has many casual partners. She will let anybody fuck her. She's like a hooker who works for free. It's the girl who has pulled a train for the entire basketball team.

I prefer women who engage in fully committed, boyfriend-girlfriend relationships in search of love. They have ethics, healthy values, self-respect and dignity, but aren't afraid of sex. They like sex and have had lots of it... with a limited number of partners.

But I don't even like the word slut. It gets thrown around so casually. It's used to shame women and denigrate the female gender.

Women are entitled to do what they want. They're allowed to have fun. But guys are entitled to their preferences in choosing partners.

Well the classic saying is a slut does it with everybody but a bitch does it with every body except you.

Obviously the age old meaning of slut is a promiscuous woman.

Even though it is now a reviled word, most men would want to have confidence in that they won't get an STD from their wife/girlfriend and actually have paternity of any children.

So we can probably refine to those women who give their husband/boyfriend an STD and conceive to another man.

Wearing inappropriate, revealing clothes. Having casual relationships and hookups, I can understand if you've had 1 or 2 relationships fail but I don't see how a 20 year old can have 8 relationships unless they were casual.

I guess just being easy or appearing that way in general.
