i think in all real relationships people have feelings and standards and expectations. Some greater or less than others, depends on the person. Has nothing to do with sex preference. I live next to a gay married couple, they are no different when it comes to expectations

Preferences are human nature. Our brains are trained to establish patterns of preferences for desirable outcomes. For example, if women with large breasts and big hips have healthier and more children, and I want children, then I may prefer women with large breasts and big hips.
