So this guy I’m involved with and I are usually really hot and heavy for each other sexually. Lately we’ve both been busy with work and while still active, he’s been finishing quicker than normal. Also he’s been very touchy feely - but in more of a emotional/cuddling/physical closeness type of way.

Part of me wonders if he’s just not as interested, but also this shift from like sex to other physical closeness has me questioning that idea too. Thoughts?

So the switch from like purely sexual energy to more of the cuddling/other type of touch typically happens when a guy has feelings? I wasn’t sure if he was just like suddenly not sexually attracted to me anymore

From my experience: men are physical to emotional whereas women are Emotional to physical. Guys are Simple. Girls are hard because each girl has their own Emotional button. Some like Sweet, some Bad, some authoritative etc.. I don’t know the answer to your question. Generally, when you cut a guy off from sex you severe the emotional connection. I would worry less about him and more about yourself being physically pleased and satisfied.

I appreciate your input. I definitely haven’t cut off sex or anything, while we’re both busier with work, the change was more on his side so I was trying to determine the cause of it. Like stress, deeper emotion, something lol. But what you said makes sense, thanks
