It get confused when these women keep their faces covered but show off other body parts because I thought the covered face was supposed to be about virtue so doesn’t that throw the whole thing off? But it’s not my religion so I don’t know.

I think of the women who more or less screamed into the reporters' cameras that they weren't just told to wear a niqab but they wanted to wear it. A second thought is of a female fellow student who is half afghan half polish who told me that it's based on her very own decision to be muslim but to not wear a niqab in public. I guess the statement of the picture is "Fine, I'll wear a niqab, but the rest is up to me."

Well, lets be honest, men in todays society are, well to use the colloquial terminology, "thirsty" and as such have probably not thought about anything beyond her tits (rather sad and depressing state of affairs in my opinion). So not surprised. But yeah, the whole point of the veil is to not flaunt herself sexually which is precisely what she is doing so completely counter productive.
