What's up with guys not liking sex in the dark as much as in light?

My fiance was horny and Im on my period, so I proposed the idea of blindfolding him. This way I can move on him comfortably without the nasty feeling of him seeing blood, and later I can clean him up.

He complained about his balls 'popping up' and he wanted to rearrange them, but I tried to do it instead of him, so he doesn't touch the previously mentioned stuff. He kept saying they dont sit well. He went limp a few times but told me to continue because he will finish. So my idea is that he went soft because of not watching me work, but he said it was the uncomfortable position of his balls. Im not sure about that, because I remember one time when I blindfolded him and it was harder to get him to come. He did finish this time in doggy, still blindfolded. Is it normal to enjoy sex less because you dont see your partner's body?

Superb Opinion

  • They want to see the woman's body. Men are very visual about sexual things. I often think of how weird it is for women to want to be in the dark. I always think "Well... Why don't the women just blindfold themselves & the men can see them, while the women can see nothing & the problem will be solved."

  • Just put lots of old towels and go to it. It's not but a tiny bit of blood. The rest is just fluid. I'll bet he doesn't mind the mess.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Have you ever heard anyone say that guys are visual creatures?

    • Of course , but I didn't know there are so many reasons to go soft. I mean he never went fully limp, just softer, then hard again, softer, then hard. It happens like once a month. Well we do have sex a lot so obviously there are more occasions for it to happen, but guys always pushed me with the fact that they never go soft. Like, one time he told me he is not in the mood but willing to go for me, then he went soft. Or one time we had an argument before sex and he was stressed, he went soft. Now he said it was because his balls hurt and he didn't see my body.

    • There are medical reasons which can cause ED, such as diabetes. And some medications, such as SSRI antidepressants, can cause ED.

    • Do you think he has ED if it happens about one out of 20 times?

    • Show All
  • I love watching my penis disappear inside my partner. I love watching my partner's face in pleasure. I love the sight of my partner's naked body. I want to see all that during sex.

  • I have thought about blindfolding my girlfriend, but not for the reasons you suggest. I like lights on, but strictly my preference

  • Men are more visual so yeah we like to see you when we are fucking you

    • So you say its kinda normal that the balls thing and the not seeing me made him softer? I was surprised he could finish that way

    • If his balls hurts that 100% that will kill his erection.

    • Thanks for the enlightening

  • Personally I prefer soft lighting in a dimly lit room. Pitch dark is not my favorite, but is still fun.

  • We wanna see

    • You funny guy

    • Yuh. Very funny

  • Most guys are visual and love seeing a woman’s naked body during sex and seeing her facial expressions and body reacting getting pleasure.

  • Men are very visual. The feeling associated with having sex is the same with unattractive women as it is with attractive women. Not being able to see takes away a good deal of the excitement for men.

  • that's a very obvious one

  • we do like it , it hightened senses
