What's with the Asian fetish?

Sometimes I think I get catcalled just bc I'm Asian. I'm not pretty, so I think the reason I get catcalled is just bc of my ethnicity. If I were pretty, that'd be one thing, but I'm not, so I think that's the reason. Thoughts?

Hey, you're not half-bad. Course, you're not amazingly pretty either; but you're certainly not ugly, not by any stretch of the imagination. Do you get catcalled just because of your ethnicity? Obviously not. It could clearly be a factor in some cases, just the same as being slender'd be for a skinny girl, or having blonde hair'd be for a blonde girl, or having blue eyes'd be for a girl with blue eyes. But regarding its importance, it's probably somewhere between the first and last two of those examples; and for most guys these days, including guys like me, it's no more important than the last two. Utterly trivial.

Personally its not a fetish, big part of my life is Asian culture, traditions, foods, individual respect for multi cultural differences.

I am person attracted to personality, intellect, humor, kindness , creativeness , confidence.

Each women I cross paths with I hope in my heart is genuine, happy, loved, passionate, and thriving.

If I happen to find love and it's with a great women from Asian culture , or any culture that I appreciate, their is nothing wrong with giving my heart to the one, who I would deem beloved.

Goes back the belief that Asian women are subservient. My parents were born in the late 1920s and I never felt my mom was subservient to my dad so it is a weird concept that someone would want that in a relationship. If those are your pictures you are pretty.

I'm personally attracted to Asian men so I guess I'm on the other side of this.

It's more about your gender and maybe aomeone thinks you're pretty even if you don't. Ethnicity wouldn't even come to my mind.

It's pretty dumb to think it HAS to be that. When they cat call they don't stop to think if you think you're pretty. They think so that's why they do it. And sometimes it isn't even because they find you attractive. Maybe they think it's funny. There are a load of reasons should consider before defaulting to race or ethnicity.

You're very pretty. I wouldn't call it a fetish at all, I am genuinely more attracted to Asians. I prefer the body shape, I love the beautiful dark eyes. Many Asians I've encountered also have amazing skin.

In my experience, there is a greater percent of Asian women who have a white thing than white guys who have an Asian thing. I couldn't count how many Asian women I've met who would only date white men and far more would if they could (living in Asia makes it hard for them).

It is a thing that people sometimes may fetishize a woman's race, it's super cringy to see it in action.

That aside, I don't have an "asian fetish" and you ARE beautiful.
You yourself may not see it, but I bet you a lot of others would agree, and I 100% see it.

I still don't think myself to be that good looking but my girlfriend often compliments me and tells me so to the point where I see more of what she means when she says I am handsome.

Dunno, being Indian, Brit whites have started developing it too, especially when they see what Asian-white mixed race kids look like, plus wez got the Kama sutra, fantastic hair and the majority of Indians converge towards engineering or medicine degrees.
