I say if they want to, that is great. I do worry that sometimes women who do it may feel like they are forced and don't have a say in the matter.
Think of the worst job you have ever had and you had to do it, or else be homeless or starving. Many would say you could just quit, your choice but the consequences would be so dire you either take the job to head off the really bad stuff or you stay in a bad job for that reason.
I haven't personally known any prostitutes' who do sexual acts for money, but I did know a stripper who was a exhibitionist and she absolutely loved her job. She loved showing her stuff off and saved herself for her future husband. I had a great deal of respect for her.
That said, she did say many of the other dancers didn't want to do it, but felt they had no choice... it was either dance/strip and make decent money or work in some crappy job at minimum wage, so they made the choice to use their bodies.
In the end though, it really is only something that can be exploited from 18 to 30... after that the market seems to drop.
