What is your opinion about public displays of affection?

Quite torn on this as it could be hypocritical based on my past, where public sexual things have happened.

Generally holding hands and a kiss is acceptable. Being overly affectionate for me is inappropriate in a built up area like a crowded street, bus stop etc.

There is, however; a flip side to this and that being the thrill of being caught. I've not done it in over 20 years in public but when placed in a scenario where the female is being sexual deliberately it'd probably make me react. That said, these days I'd probably find somewhere private. It also depends on what is considered 'public'. I used to DJ and all sorts of sexual behaviour went on, on the dance floor. Quite often with other men/women in front of their partners/wives.

It doesn't take much for a male to react and some women literally enjoy getting you excited in public. The older I get I'd react the same physically (erection) but would usher her somewhere where people couldn't see out of respect for others.

I can only answer for myself but I am not a big fan of those kind of displays of affection among adults.

Obviously, I will not object display of affection between parents and children. Although I think it should be limited to normal display of affection and parents should certainly not overdo it.

Among adults, holding hands is okay. There is nothing wrong with that but I cannot tolerate when young teens start to eat out each other's face with sloppy kisses. That just makes me want to vomit.

Everything has a fine border between what is acceptable and what not and heavy display of physical attraction among adults is definitely a red flag for me and does not belong in public places. What I definitely condemn is when adults move their hands to places where they have no reasons to be in the first place in public.
