So there's this guy called Mark who was seeing a slut called Hana. With her, he's done a lot of things, many sex adventures have been embarked, he's paid her at times too. Anyway, he's has her nudes and with his best friend, he wants to blackmail her current fiance with the nasty proof or whatever. The fiance guy is a good man and probably doesn't know about Hana's past, this was suggested by Lily, Mark's coworker and bff. Mark says he's obsessed with her, Mark is now a married man himself with kids. What can be done?

Let's establish that you're one of the players in this soap opera. You can't be Lily, because no one would come confess to instigating blackmail, so you must, be Hana. My money says your the slut in question.

First thing Is do is keep every bit of electronic correspondence as evidence. I'll explain why later.

Then I'd go and confess to your fiancee, and tell Mark you confessed and to send them by emailing them, because your fiancee wants to see his little slut in action. Then provide his email address to capture the pictures. If you've confessed and he knows they're coming, as embarrassing as they are...

Mark will either be taken aback by the boldness of your dare and back off, because he'll figure you confessed and he has no ammunition, or he'll proceed.

If he proceeds by sendingthe pics to your fiancee, you now have the same blackmail evidence he has, and then turn around and and tell him you have the messages and the pics and tell him you're going to go to his wife, if a weird is breathed to anyone.

Chances are, your relationship will survive one, because you honestly confessed, and two, because it was in your past, and not currently going on.

Chances are you'll end Mark's marriage. Maybe deservedly so if he's trying to blackmail you as he'll have to explain to his wife, why he was in pics with another woman. Frame the presentation with he's been trying to hook up with you lately, and because you've refused, he's trying to blackmail you.

He'll have to explain it all, and why he wants you currently, as well as why he's trying to blackmail you, (the saved messages I said to keep earlier?), which is definite proof he's emotionally cheating, or at least trying to physically cheat.

I'm not sure which will be more despicable to his wife. The blackmail of a fellow female, or that he's trying to cheat.

Who cares if you're the slut? That was past. And even if it's current, for your fiancee, why should he care? You're not cheating. You're being blackmailed... which I'm sure he'll love.

As for Lily, I'd find her man and tell him to watch his back. This one he's with, is evil.

This is partly what I was thinking, the blackmailing guy is dumb because he's messing around and he has a wife and kids to lose so why would he blackmail. So dumb. He's at risk of getting burned by the same fire he's playing with.

I agree with your update. Other than that, there’s not much Hana can do other than ignore the threat and try to explain that she was a different person back then if he follows through. This is why I very strongly oppose sending nudes if you’re not in an LDR, and never with your face in it. Tell him (it usually is a him) to use his memory and imagination when he jerks off.

I hope he doesn’t have evidence that Hana was actually paid for sex. I might dump my fiancée for that and I’m pretty liberal, let alone a conservative Indian guy.

Unfortunately Lily didn’t do anything legally wrong. Mark did by committing blackmail (which is probably a crime even in India). Lily just gave advice. She’s not legally liable (maybe under a conspiracy theory, but those are hard to prove if you have a good defense lawyer).
