I don't like any clothes that accentuate 'sexy' - it's a trap to get attention and be a narcissist about it.
My favourite look is sloppy/loose fitting almost incoherent clothes on a pretty thing (woman, obviously, that's just the expression).
THAT is someone you can talk to without the obligatory 'oh, you must admire me from the distance' vanity that any sexuality accentuating clothes (or clothers) expect and demand.
It's self-objectification and de-humanisation.

I prefer the regular kind. One pieces and shorts are for old ladies. Thongs and some of the more exotic kind come off as trashy and vulgar. I particularly hate the high waisted kind that hide a girl's stomach.
Honestly the most important factor is the girl. Nothing is as cute as a chubby girl in a bikini, it is a venerable tour de force of self confidence.

Other women can wear whatever kind of bikini they want. I don’t really have a preference. Not ever girl looks good in the same style bikini. For me, I like wearing a string bikini.
