Basically, what your co-worker did is sexual harassment and that would be cause for him to be extremely worried because I would not hesitate to report him to management for sexual harassment.
Is that kind of deviant and perverted behavior really worth risking to lose his job just because he thinks that he can harass women sexually without any consequences for him and his career?
To answer to your update. A friend is no longer a friend in my eyes if that person becomes personal and infringes on my privacy. Guys may view it differently as girls do but to me (and probably most girls) this is an absolute no go. If that friend of yours is a female, then she is nothing more than a hoe in my eyes.

I would realize that I might not be working with overly professional individuals. I would not give an answer.
If I was available, and the co-worker was a female in whom I had an interest, I would tell her to come to my house Friday night and she could see for herself.
Since we're at work, I wouldn't discuss in great detail. If I know the person and we're cool with each other I'd say the truth because most people do it at some point.
I might jokingly say "Sure. Don't you? Doesn't everybody?" or "Is the Pope Catholic?"
If my friend was an attractive woman, I might look down at the floor and shyly confess "Yeah." And then add "While thinking about you." Gauge her reaction and then laugh like it was a joke if she looks grossed out. She will either want to continue the banter or change the subject. After all, she started it.

So I work with mostly guys… if someone asked me that I would reck them… but at the same time the times I have worked with girls in the past I almost always had a favorite and would usually end up in that conversation at some point or another with that girl or with one of the other girls I knew would have inappropriate conversations with everyone.

In college, I had a girl 'friend" that I had a class with, invited me to her and her parents' apartment after class one day with her mother at work, and her dad gone as a long distance truck driver. Discussing movies, I told her I saw a recent movie, showing a girl in bed, rubbing one off, after talking to her boyfriend on the phone.
My 'friend" then asked me: Does 'Sue" (my girlfriend) do that alone, or together with you"? I knew by that that her and "John" did the same but it was like pulling teeth to finally get her to admit it. I was irked that she was trying to pry that kind of personal info from me without giving up anything herself, which she finally did.
