Hypothetically, I would seek to find the root time when all of it began, as if the son is 18 now, then he was likely underage when the step mom's seduction began, and I would seek to prove that she is a predator, with an investigation, litigation, and filing for divorce.
I would then follow up with getting my son to counseling and therapy. Despite being of legal age, assuming they live under my roof, they are still beholden to my wishes, and a willingness to cheat with my spouse is severely irregular, and demonstrates a lack or morals and respect for themselves and myself. It may also be a symptom of previous sexual abuse or some other damage. I would still love him, but would be thoroughly saddened. The woman would have my ire, and I'd seek to destroy her legally.

First I have to imagine I choose poorly for my first marriage, and then I have to imagine I married a piece of trash for my second marriage. That's beyond my scope. I think the obvious "feeling" is a combination of anger, disgust and disbelief. What I'd DO is throw her out, and him too, if he was still living at home. Then I'd divorce her.

Not good. I'm sure an 18 yr kid wants to get laid a lot but not with my wife. I would stop it and seek counseling with my wife or as a family.
