Whats the purpose of fantasies for you?

Are sexual fantasies a bucket list for you, or is it an imaginative scenario that stays in your mind, never to see the light of day? Or, do you have a combination of fantasies, some that you are intent on bringing to life and others that you think, ‘its nice, but only as a fantasy.’

  • I seem lacking in sexual fantasies in general (not lacking in sexual desires, but lacking in fantasies). I can imagine things but the problem I find is that it's fake. For example, say I see a beautiful woman. I could try to imagine how she looks when she's naked but it doesn't interest me much since it's not real. I relate it to those celebrity fake photos people doctor up; they hold zero appeal to me since they're fake.

Where I tend to fantasize and daydream more is related to my goals and passions. Sometimes I imagine and visualize accomplishing a goal (say an athletic goal), and that often helps to motivate me to work towards it.

    • Interesting perspective

    • Cheers! Admittedly, I'm a bit bizarre this way. I did use to have sexual fantasies (along with romantic ones) when I was younger as well as crushing on women I barely knew when I was a teen. Somehow that stopped completely at some point. Maybe it's because I found all too often that my sexual fantasy and the sexual reality were completely different in jarring ways that threw me off. So I ceased to have sexual fantasies of the sort.

  • Yeah It’s always fun to have fantasies sexual and non sexual... I guess I’m a dreamer.
re: the sexual ones, i have some that became real, some I’d probably never do, and some things that were never on a bucket list and just happened.

  • If it is realistic to do, then I'd like to try to, obviously, some are not... never going to do it in space in zero gravity.

    • Zero gravity would be a lot of fun

    • I have often wondered if it would be fun or way hard cause no gravity means each act pushes the other person so you both have to hold on and brace... riding on top would not be the same for sure, gravity helps a lot on that. Would be interesting to try though.

    • Riding would mean using your legs a lot to stay on, and he’d have to hold on to. Sounds like a fun workout

  • My fiancé and I always talk openly about the sexual stuff and if we want to try something we do. It's the best way

  • Never to see the light of day unless I’m dying then why not

    • Wow! Sounds extreme!

    • You uh, might not want to wait until your death bed to tell what your fantasy is. Not like you need to tell us now but, if you're dying, you might not be able to ever fulfill it, unless it's a fantasy that has to do with death

  • I guess I mix of both for me

  • It's an imaginative scenario mostly for me

  • Maybe maynot be

  • Life sucks

  • I share mine and they turn me on incredibly. And while I’d like to go through mine completely someday, I know that I probably shouldn’t due to the danger involved

  • They say that fantasies should remain just that. But having the right Sherpa, can mean opening doors you never even imagined possible.

  • They serve no purpose at all.

    • Just to torment?
