Girls, when did you learn about male circumcision?

When I worked in a female doctor's office as a medical assistant. She gave me a big box of something to take to the luggage maker down town. I delivered the box and he opened it and looked inside. It was a bunch of foreskins from circumcisions. The guy says, "Tell Dr. Jones that I will have it done next week." I asked what is this for and he said he was going to make luggage out of them. Like, oh gross! Well the doctor sends me the next week to pick up her luggage so I took the doctor's SUV to pick them up because I didn't think I'd have room for it in my car. So the guy brings out a small brief case. I asked, "Where is the rest of it?" He said there was no more, this is it. I said, "Out of that big huge box of foreskins this is all you made out of them, a brief case?" He replied with a wink, "Well tell the doctor to play with it a bit and it will grow into a 5 piece luggage set"

I do not remember exactly when I was told.. but it most definitely have been in school at some point. I am from Scandinavia and circumcision is not so common so none in my family are circumcised.
Actually me and another girl chose female circumcision as a research project. We had no idea that it was also performed on girls some places in the world and learned a lot of horrific facts.

I guess when I was a teen. It's mentioned in movies and shows when they speak about Jewish traditions. Also I knew about it because of my high school ex and a friend who both had phimosis and had to get a circumcision because of it.

Must have been in HS. my brother growing up was always walking from the shower to his room naked, ( weirdo) and he was cut, in HS at a party a bunch of guys all dropped their pants and one was uncut, and I saw my first penis with a turtle neck sweater, I was only with 2 guys who were uncut, my husband is cut.

Probably like senior year of high school to be honest. I didn’t know the difference, but I live in Japan so I’ve never seen a circumcised penis in real life since it’s not common here.
