When you go to the gynecologist or urologist for your annual checkup, do you prefer a male or female doctor?

I preferred a male because thats the only sex I’m willing to get buttass naked for, but back then that Claude Frollo lookin mf tried to force fist me despite not even being able to get a strawlike tube in me because i was so tense. I kicked that mf and then he was like “why are you so tight, no ones a virgin at this age.” Stupid bastard. I can’t even insert a tampon so i surely couldn’t do what he was trying to.

So i skipped out on the gyno for years. Went back a second time and he had his friend step in while he was out. His friend started off with “I’m not really a gynecologist but we’re gonna see what we can do today.” Like boy wtf if you dont get away from me

So i had a checkup recently and requested a female. The thought makes me uncomfortable so I didn't look forward to it. Of all people, my preschool best friend steps in as the nurse and Im like oh hell no she gotta see me naked! Shit was awkward af so I’m going back to a guy doc next time lmao. Anyways, they tried to shove some bigass thing in me and I regret not having masturbated this year cause I was tense af. She kept sayin “its just like a tampon.” I screamed HOE I USE PADS!! Lmao She couldnt get it in so she had to give me some little strawass tube but my vaginal reflexes kicked in and pushed that bit out. They told me to come back another time

I only prefer female. I had a bad experience with a male gyno (who was in his early 50s) when I was 17. He asked if I was taking birth control and I said “no, I’m not sexually active”.. he didn’t believe me and then proceeded to give me a sex talk l, in front of my mom, about what happens if you have unprotected sex without birth control. Then he proceeded to lift up my shirt and touch my stomach for god knows what reason. So only females from then on out.

Yea they did the same to me regarding the birth control but my mom wasn't in the room. Instead he kept saying there was no way i could be a virgin at 22. And i wasn't. But what i had did was at 15/16 and not something i wanted to discuss with him.

I think it depends on the person and their experiences.

In my experience, a male gynocologist was more careful checking down there and wasn't forcing anything. When I went with a female gynocologist, she treated me roughly and she didn't really care if I was comfortable or not

I think if I had any man issues down there, I'd probably rather discuss it with a guy as he'd have a better understanding of how I feel about it better than a woman would.

I had some fairly extensive kidney problems and the urologist I always saw was a male, but it wasn't because of his gender. I talked to some doctors and nurses that I knew and every single one recommended him.

Yea i take it seriously but they dont. The docs keeps sayin, you dont call us, we call you to schedule an appointment. I remind them every few months and they say the same. They dont call. They did an ultrasound wih a radiologist but the actual urologist won't call. I've been okay this month but the last 2 months was extreme side pain to where i couldnt sleep on those sides. I had the same pain Jan/Feb of last year which is why i went to my primary doc in the first place. My issue is i like soda and acidic foods so its always gonna hurt a little bit apparently

They only refer to those they’re in a group with. They’re crooked in my opinion. Also, my other prob is, i refuse to pee outside my home bathroom. So i hold my pee and so on for days if necessary until I’m home. And i guess that built up. I've been doing it since 2006 but pain didn't start til late 2020

Yea they have more then one but its the company in general that im tired of. Its a long story but one day i’ll tell you more abour how they are money hungry. Too tired to think about it atm. I just need to find some old school private/home docs but i dont think my insurance covers

Yeah I don't do the annual appointments. When I go in for pregnancy they recommend one at the beginning of the pregnancy and another after the baby is born. Skipped out on both of these cause I lied said I had it done at a different a doctor and since I didn't release my med record to them they cannot actually check this. My last doctor said I was fine since they only recommend women in their 20s getting paps every 3-5years anyways. Even tho I haven't had a pap since like 2016 😆
