Well that's just incorrect. Attitude can be impertinence, disrespect, rebelliousness, none of these are ever positive.
Everybody has that LOL Ours is a result of us being more passionate about things, so that's why they say if you're gonna date or marry a latina then be careful because you want the good passion not the bad one lol
Everybody can be*, is not the same as, everybody are*. And when it's not just about normal occurrences but an actual culture of attitude, it's negative. And passion is really a poor excuse for being obnoxious. But if we are to call it that then yes, I'll have no interest in that kind of, "passion", that just comes off as conceited and needlessly aggressive to seem tough, to me.
Name one person on this planet who has never had a bad attitude... So when you say it's of culture, IT IS. But again, that's not always bad nor always good. It goes both ways. You sound like you have a bad attitude though lol and you're white :D
I never said no one ever has a bad attitude but latinas, so you misunderstood the argument there. You said that everyone has an attitude once in a while, I said there's a difference between that and an entire culture around it. No, that's what I said originally. An entire culture circulating around having an attitude is not a good thing. If you think it is then by all means, name a positive aspect. I don't have a bad attitude, you told us to give the first answer in our heads and this is it.
Oh, my bad. Lo siento for that part. But the culture isn't centered around "attitude"; it's centered around being passionate, which results in attitude when it becomes strong. And by itself just as a principle it's neither positive nor negative, but it goes both ways. So basically I'm saying our emotions are more intense, but again that can be either really good or really bad. It's not bad to have intense emotions. I say it's actually better than being the same all the time and hardly showing emotion at all. But based on that, have you ever been around when we show our GOOD emotions? Because it goes both ways...
No, of course my experiences with Latinas are limited. So I wouldn't know the positive sides extensively, I only based my reasoning on the impression I have garnered through the first thought that came to me. Intense emotions are not bad as long as you control them and they do not control you. Being ruled by emotion is among the worst possible things for mankind. Intense good emotions such as love, joy, positivity sure, still as long as you keep them in check in accordance with the situation.

ya well the worst experience is probably my dad dated one, she convinced my dad to kick me out at 18 and my sister at 16. I'm half Latino, and the first thing that comes to mind is being able to relate in regards to family values. La familia is everything to me, and that's how I was raised. A concept that a lot of white people don't understand. It also makes me think of them as balanced femininity. Most American cultured women are pretty selfish by nature. Most Middle Eastern women are oppressed and are looked at as servants. Latina's are liberated, but are still very nurturing, giving, and loyal. It also helps that Latina's tend to be the most passionate lovers and have great bodies.

just a personal note - we have many Hispanics in our local bible church. Several of the Hispanic gals work very hard in our food pantry and I am on good terms with all of them. All are very generous, sweet, up-beat, and friendly with pantry guests we help. Maybe they feel the people they help are part of their "extended family"?
