I would say that both of those situations are pretty embarrassing, but a period leak might be slightly more embarrassing since it's something that's not always possible to predict or control. It can be a very natural and normal part of being a woman, but it can also be a very uncomfortable and potentially humiliating experience, especially if it happens at an inappropriate time or place.

Erections are more obvious through modern styled pants.. Period blood will end up in underwear unless a woman is wearing said type modern slacks. And most women are aware of about when their periods are set to start and can wear pantyliners just in case,,,

Honestly , I think period blood , I dealt with his once ( not personally , long story , but to do with tampons , partly my fault ) , for the most part , although extremely embarrassing , I've dealt with unwanted erections , well unwanted at the time...

Period blood for sure. It gets more people looking at your crotch than a boner does (I am 100% certain it's easier to hide a boner than a patch of different colour at the crotch area). A boner lasts way shorter anyways.

My wife's period started in her on the way home from work. She was in tears in our garage. I held a towel up in front of her, had her take her clothes off from the waist down and told her to not be upset, that I would take care of it, and I did. I washed her clothes, and got the blood out and dried them for her.

I have had an erection in public, embarrassing but not so much so.

I got an erection on a beach. I tried to "hide" it by positioning my hard on straight up but it wasn't until a couple girls started pointing/laughing that I realized the tip of my boner was peaking over my waist band. Thought I was going to die of embarrassment.

For each gender they man would usually think the erection would be more embarrassing and the women would think that period leak would be. I think erection might be the most embarrassing because it’s more visual especially if it’s a good size and it’s controllable while women with a period is more understandable and tolerable.

I’m going to say erection. People are more likely to think you were a creep. Whereas period blood is embarrassing, but people would probably have a little more sympathy instead.
