Confidence is always attractive in a partner, whether you're a man or a woman. But when you say "I don't need a man", that's a lie unless you are gay or asexual or are a really, REALLY rare exception. The vast majority of women absolutely want to be in a relationship with a man, and most women want children sooner or later, and so to say that you don't need a man is a lie - and it's a lie that exposes radical feminist beliefs, and THAT is what turns men off. Radical feminism is a lie and a very harmful one in many respects, and it's reflective of a toxic way of thinking.
And to be fair, men also need women to be happy. Men might not actually need to be in a RELATIONSHIP with a woman to be happy, but without SOME contact with women, men would not be happy.
Lies are toxic and they destroy relationships. Why would anyone be for that?
Not that she necessarily needs a man but does sometimes need the help of other people.

I just like honest. I don't think my wife needs me. But honesty i treasure more than anything. My wife is a very strong woman. Owns two salons and i bought them for her. Because i was confident in her ablities and see us as a team. Did she need me? I think she would have found another way if i hadn't put up the money. But i enjoy helping her, i think it is just a primal urge. The urge to provide pushes me to achive more in my own proffesion. So i would say we both gain from it.
