It does seem to be a guy thing. The stereotype is a creepy old guy in a trench coat.

Of course, not all flashers work this way. Some wear baggy, loose fitting clothes which can be easily arranged so that they expose certain body parts. I always used a car when I flashed. I drove around until I saw a girl walking alongside the road, then drove up next to her and asked her for directions to someplace or other. My pants would be down around my ankles, my cock on display. I loved the looks on their faces, the disgust, the laughter, the shock, whatever. The particular reaction never mattered. All that mattered was that they saw my dick.

And that's really all any flasher wants. We want a reaction but the type of reaction is irrelevant. We just want to know that we've been seen, noticed. The best thing anyone who gets flashed can do is completely ignore the flasher. That's how you hurt him. Just refuse to notice him at all. Don't validate him. But that's hard to do and we flashers count on you not being able to hide your initial reaction to our nudity shoved in your face.

But I wonder about the girls out there who expose themselves. I know it's becoming more common. Girls do it differently, of course. They seldom expose in public as men do. They do it electronically. Girls take nude photos of themselves and send them out into the world. They pretend to be shocked and dismayed when the photos turn up on the internet but really, they knew that was going to happen. Everyone knows that nude photos are not going to remain private. No one is that naïve. So girls who take nude photos of themselves may try to act innocent but they knew when they posted the photos that the photos would end up on the internet for all to see. And they posted them anyway.

But still, it's guys who tend more toward exhibitionism. And our motives are different. When a girl exposes her nude body to the world, she's just having fun. When a guy flashes his dick at someone, he's getting a sexual thrill from it. Most guys will be concentrating on their victim's face, the reaction, so that they can masturbate later to the memory. That was my own pattern. And there were times, only a few, when I actually masturbated right there in front of the girl I was flashing.

I got the therapy I needed and haven't flashed in years. But I still have the basic nature of an exhibitionist. I still enjoy being the center of attention. That is the core of an exhibitionist's desires. He wants to be seen, noticed. But he wants it, usually, in a sexual context. That's why he tries to get attention by whipping his cock out in front of unsuspecting people. Girls are the same. They want attention. They just tend to do it legally, posting nude photos on-line.

I wonder how many people here, both male and female, are exhibitionists at heart. How many people here would have their profiles covered in nude selfies if GAG were to allow such a thing? I suspect the number would be high.
