First off, don't generalize anon. Not all women are like that. And this statement is coming from a woman that has not had sex in YEARS.

Also, there are men that way, so it goes both ways. I believe it comes down to the dating/hookup mentality of people. Rather than committing to one person, they rather sleep around with as many people as they can.
That, or they associate sex with one's attractiveness... if someone wants to sleep with you, you're attractive. Hence boosting one's self esteem and confidence.

I really don't know, I am mostly hypothesizing here. Like yourself, I do not understand why people put such emphasis on sex.

Women are just as horny as men are, regardless of country. I guess American women are just more comfortable doing something about the horniness. Plus it’s becoming more and more popular to be open about our sexuality as female comedians making jokes about sex and their vaginas became popular a few years ago.

@Asker if it makes you feel any better, most men in Western countries consider Ukrainian girls more attractive than American. Hell my last girlfriend was from Ukraine and she literally stood out from the crowd even when surrounded by English women. And walking around the Maidan in Kiev was like playing "supermodel bingo" lol. Not to mention Ukraine women are usually well-educated, have good values, close to their families, etc. American girls seem to throw sex at men because they don't have a lot else to offer. (At least in some of the main liberalised, urbanite areas like California, San Francisco, New York etc. I hear Mid-West girls tend to be more down to earth and traditionally feminine.)
