Why are interracial fetishes so common with guys but rare with girls?

Title says it all, how come interracial fetishes are so disproportionate towards men and while women don't usually notice or fixate on race?

I'm not sure if that's exactly accurate. I think women fixate on race in a different way. It's more about social status than anything, sorry to say. If there weren't these negative stigmas built up about certain "races", than it wouldn't matter much to women what the person's color was. But because, he says, she says, they say, my family says, my boss says, my friends say, bullshit that now women use this to try and navigate life successfully, since it's harder for women to navigate life socially than for men. And let's face it, to really gain in life, you have to be able to navigate socially in life. Men, really, use this fact to make other cultures worse or better to gain socially and economically. So, race really doesn't have much of a hindrance on men until it threatens their livelihood.

Or maybe I'm looking at it backwards even. Men are very conscious about social and political and economical status. Probably the most conscious, since it's really how we survive as men. The strongest survive right in all facets of life for men and it's very competitive. So any status quo is most beneficial. White house, picket fence, perfect wife, 2 or 4 kids (no imbalances), hunter, loves to fish, etc, etc, etc... That's western status quo mind you. But if any aspect of that life is different or not the "norm", than it get's analyzed and critiqued and depending how different or how many factors differ from the quo, your life won't be as successful or your chances at "the American dream" lessens. So then different ethnicities, specifically different to your own ethnicity, like it has to differ from the status quo and social view of similarity, will be more taboo or not the norm or fetishes to venture into that area. Women, don't really care about such things as much until it hurts them socially. I could be wrong however.

You're exactly right. But I don't know why that is. A lot of black guys seen to have a fetish for white girls, but I've noticed that white girls don't really have a preference/fetish in race.

I think its because girls are more influenced by culture then guys. Guys are more influenced by biology then girls so they don't care as much as girls do about race and culture and ethnicity - of course I don't say guys don't care about those things - I say most guys care less about those things then most women.

I can't talk for all men, but for me - If I knew a girl I was with had sex with a black guy, I would be turned off, and wouldn't like her anymore.

I think people can be attracted to the familliar or unfamiliar. Features that are similar to their own or those that are different. For example, blonde hair is sought after by many in places where it doesn't normally occur.
