saw something on this platform and now I'm just wondering..
They want to justify their lifestyle. Similar to how someone who smokes weed will probably try to justify how it’s not as bad as tobacco and has health benefits, etc. They want to have their vice and not feel ridiculed for it.
It’s true that it’s not healthy for relationships though.
Overuse of porn can cause issues with emotional intimacy and even cause erectile dysfunction, which has been a rising problem in younger men from porn consumption.
Many of the men on this platform are single though. So, if they’re using porn to cope with being single, they want to justify why this vice is okay to have.1 0 0 0Exactly.. but being single and consuming porn is different, you don't have to spare someone's feelings. But when you have a s/o it's like c'mon keep it in your pants, you can literally have physical sex instead of jerking off to a screen.
@Lisia That’s very true. And if they choose porn because they are turned on by porn more than they are by their partner, there’s a problem. They need to fix their relationship, not run from their issues and escape to porn.
Or use it as anti-stress, which is also stupid, that literally makes it sound like it's the same as a smoking addiction.
Porn is good when you're single and want to get off, or if your partner isn't in the mood. It's also good for finding out what your favorite body type is, and what kind of sex acts you like, and even can be good on occasion for discovering favored personality types, and its good for finding new things for you and your partner to try out.
Every woman I've been in a relationship with liked porn, and it's never been a reason a breakup happened.
Porn is just a tool, if you think of it as anything else, you're overthinking it.0 0 0 0It depends on who you're dating, if a woman herself looks at other men of course she wouldn't care. But it's bad for relationships. It has been proven by psychology. It's not okay when you have someone and you're going to look at porn to decide what other types of people you like, most of those girls aren't even real.
Its actually not bad for relationships, I already explained why, so I'm not going to repeat any of that, but... It also has nothing to do with who is or isn't real. A lot of porn isn't even live action, it's 2D or 3D art. I only couple with women that are sci-fi, fantasy, nature, and anime artists. Ones that play video games and have high sex drives, and most of those women have drawn porn at some point, put on cosplay outfits (or at least wanted to), installed lewd mods in video games, etc. And pretty much all of them watch porn. Your view of what harms or helps a relationship is too biased to be objective. She would care, and she would probably show me porn she thought I'd like just like every other female artist i've met who crushed on me. I've never had porn be a source of conflict or distancing or breakup in a relationship.
Some girls give you porn just because they don't want to have sex with you or they know it'll make you interested in them

It's like smoking an addiction and they want it to be okay so they push and shove others into it and force their ideas on others!
Really they often feel guilty and it kills the bedroom for most! Single guys are just wanting stuff from porn and we need love romance not bdsm and rough sex instantly.
It's emotional cheating at best and worst your cheating sexually looking at another women! Looking at another guy wanting them! The definition of lust!
1 2 0 0I agree with you!! Porn is bad for relationships and the healthy sex life of it.
Sending you a follow!
You earned it hope this stays up! When ever I ask things it gets reported fast! Can't ask anything real or smart and nothing health wise under the health topic 🤣 lmao
They have a porn addiction if they are being protective over it
1 2 0 0I think so too

0 0 0 0Ok but if it's your girlfriend you should care else you don't love her
Ridiculous. Why would I care? She's not going to leave me for a picture on a page or screen.
You would be surprised.. depending on self respect and morals of course.
Not protective of porn, except from those that don't know I look at porn. !!! LOLOL
0 0 0 0That's what I mean
@Lisa Seems like everybody looks at Porn at some time, so I guess I should not be protective.
what do you mean "protective"?
0 0 0 0Not wanting to share that you watch it. Not being honest ab it.
Oh. I don't care about admitting XD I so watch it and I'm not gonna be weird about it. I'm totally ok with it
Protective? Like... this is My porn?
My wife, sub, and I watch porn sometimes, but I can see how some people wouldn't want their partners to do it. To each their own.0 0 0 0I assume your wife doesn't care either cause I assume sub is someone else you have sex with too?
Correct.
Didn't have to look at porn. Had 2 roommates and a bestie (female) that would walk around naked or topless around me. So nudity is no biggie.
0 0 0 0Whot..
Lol...
Id like to hear ur opinion on how u think it ruins the relationship
0 0 0 0Because you are fantasising about fucking other women. If you get the chance with such a hot woman in real life you would probably take it and throw away everything you have with the other person.
Well... not necessarily... fantasising is one thing.. i dont me or most people would ever go through with it.. loyalty is kinda hardwired in the brain.. so I'd never go through even if margot robbie was available lol
Margot Robbie is gorgeous, lucky she's taken 😅 anyway, I still thinks it goes hand it hand. How do you think physical cheating happens? It starts off with fantasising.. then it goes to full on emotional cheating and then yeah you already get the drill..
Like what?
0 0 0 0Acting like you don't watch it in a relationship
What do you mean being protective of porn? They should just admit it. As you know almost all younger people have looked at porn either to masturbate to or out of curiousity.
0 0 0 0Acting like an holy person in a relationship.. although you watch it. In other words pretending like you don't watch it anymore
I agree with you. We should just be honest about it. I only watch it when I want something to look at when I masturbate. How bout you?
I don't because I'm not a fan of it and I have sex so I don't need it 😅
I absolutely despise porn, but what other consenting adults do is not my business.
I said consenting, because many have been trafficked into it. In those cases I believe the traffickers should be covered in pitch and lit on fire.1 1 0 0🙌 stay this way!
What do you mean protective of porn?
like they dont want to delete it?
0 0 0 0Or they pretend they don't do it but then do it behind your back
The logic, is that watch porn, isn't really hot narratively. like for example "Your hottest girl I have ever seen in my life" and then watches prn that whole statement is just thrown out the window. (For people of some what decency, watching porn isn't something they wish to do but there addicted and dont want to deal with consequences for the moment. ) For people with high sex drives things get stale quickly and an innocent release clears the mind so they can get a better idea about how to better navigate this issue. I would say for a wife is to offer alternatives offer gradual alternatives. Reduce stimulesis? across the board. Another issue is dealing with body issues, stress issues, this porn is very much like a drug, and is a crappy band aid that wrecks havoc on the sex lifes of poeple. Its best to be sympathetic, but absulotly stay away from. "Gather some ideas that can be used here and there" lol
Blocksite to block oarticular keywords like prn coukd be used.
Indoctrination of filth through a vast span of years. At one point of time men would be ashamed to look at other women wearing semi naked clothes let alone walking around naked or in porn. ' Truly Unbiased Researches' which are promoted by masses suggesting that's it's ok to watch porn, it's a good stress reliever blah blah blah also promote it.
1 0 0 0It became normalised, I agree.
... along with other bad stuff, yes.
But I feel like it exists for a long time already there's a reason why prostitution is one of the oldest jobs.
Some guys might think its embarrassing for others to find out what kind of porn they are into.
1 0 0 1Even if you're together with the person and it's the most normal vanilla stuff there could be?
Yeah, that wouldn't make any sense to me.
Exactly
People feel shy about it, even though it's normal
0 0 0 0But in a relationship?
even in a relationship, it's just porn.
It's disrespectful in my opinion.
nothing wrong with it in my opinion... it's just another tool to help you get off
0 0 0 0You don't need it if you have sex on the regular tho else you're like porn addicted
not true... no one is around every time you need it
Bruh if you have a healthy sex life, you don't need it as much. It's like when teenage boys just find out what masturbating is. As you mature, you won't need it as much anymore and you can also control yourself better. If you're single is different but in a relationship come on, do better.
They're addicted 🤷
97% of men watch porn.
1 0 0 0It's disgusting
Yep. It's also a chemical reaction in our brains 🤷
There are other things except porn that can release that
for me porn is a kind of movie i watch and enjoy as i see movies.
0 0 0 0Except it ruins relationships and healthy sex lives and it's an addiction
@lisia not for me, its just fun!
In a relationship, it's bad. You can do whatever you want when you're alone.
Curiosity i think
0 0 0 0For what?
What do you mean?
0 0 0 0In a relationship pretending that you're innocent or something like that
My girlfriend and I watch
@Lisia can I ask you something?
Is it wrong in your eyes?
0 0 0 0Yep, if they're taken. If they're single then they can do what they want.
Do you mind if I ask some more questions? Just looking for someone to give some advice, support, and just listen
Yeah sure go ahead :)
That's because porn, other naked people, etc. exerts a powerful mental hold which often pushes the person away from their current relationship/s and tends to sever them.
1 0 0 0Couldn't agree more!
But I don't get a thumbs up?
I gave one
