When you go all of high school getting over looked, you are very desperate for validation that you are sexually attractive. Guys who have sex with u are very happy to give compliments until it because too 'relationshipy' or they get bored of they're not really looking to commit.
Women who have always known they are attractive know that there will always be someone else. They don't feel the need to 'give some to get some' because they have the confidence that there will always be another guy who will wait.
Anecdote isn't a good indication of general trends, and in this case I don't agree that experienced girls aren't as quick. Girls that don't have much experience, if sheltered, and put in a place that encourages hook up culture (i. e. college) often act out like this. Other girls who have more permissive environments, and engage in hookups/ sex before HS graduation may not feel like they have the leash off (as it was never really on) and not be in as big a hurry to jump in bed.
There is a phenomena later in a woman's life (after 30) when they'll have used their 20's to hookup with dozens of guys, but will then start enforcing rules like waiting until date 3-4 for a kiss, or waiting months for sex. No guy who accepts these women have my respect- paying full price (time) for used goods.
Well Catholic school girls have said all that moral instruction turned them into sluts. Being told not to let the devil tempt you into the carnal pleasures of the flesh is sort of advertising carnal pleasures. In any case a few Hail Mary's fixes it.
Could there be some similar factor for girls with little dating experience? A need to catch up for lost time?
Because they're desperate and think that they need to sleep with a guy in order for him to like her.
