Why are there some guys who think it's OK to talk sexually explicitly to random females or text "dick pics"?

I'm a guy and I am ashamed and think it gives other normal guys a bad name. I've seen plenty of girls say this happens to them regularly. What the he** would give anyone the idea that it's OK to sexually accost an unknown (or known) young woman with crude sexual come-ons and sexually explicit pics? Just wondering

I think it's interesting that most if not all ladies find this behavior disgusting but some guys, unfortunately, give the impression that all men would do this when probably most wouldn't ever.

  • I’ve always assumed it’s because men think women are similar to them in the sense that they are visual creatures. Correct me if I’m wrong, but most men only need pictures of naked women / genitals to get off. We don’t work like that.

    There are a lot of parts of a guys body that I find attractive, and the crotch area isn’t one of them. Even if a guy were to send me an unwanted pic of toned muscles or broad shoulders or something, I still would be irritated and it would be almost just as much of a turn off.

    • Yeah, i mean just the idea of sending a pic of your 🍆unsolicited to a chick is gross but yeah if it were sexy chat to a girl youknow maybe but 🍆 don't even look that great to begin with. Guys do get turned on by girls naked but like you said, it's very different.

  • I guess it is because of the way women dress these days that these guys think these women are highly sexual and some of them may be, but that doesn't mean they want to see some random pic or hear some unwanted verbal attention.

  • I agree, it's really poor form and as you say gives the rest of us a bad name, as women start to think all guys like to do it. I've never sent any and never will, and I don't want to receive either, it's just crude, I'd rather keep it to personal appearances.
