Not sure. I was about to say this stuff probably is about European languages in general until I see the Japanese part of the issue. For example in Turkish, cats aren’t associated with vaginas. “Cat” means “kedi” in Turkish and ”vagina” means “vajina”, or “am” in an informal way. There’s no, in Turkish, cats are only associated with cats. There are some idioms relating to cat but it’s not about vagina or women at all. For example, “falling on all fours like a cat“ . It means “surviving the most difficult situations without any harm.”

it isn't universal though, if it just happens in one language. the thing with the cats does not happen in "every" language either as one turkish girl in here already confired. so there must be some wesstern culture thing to the cats. the beaver as far as i know only an English thing xD
