It's actually an American/Anglo thing for women to moan & shriek during sex. More due to porn & Hollywood than anything.
People from different cultures - like an E Asian friend who admitted they can't understand Anglo sex-noises (we were in college, the girl in the other room was so loud you'd think she was being murdered) - they're quieter than a church mouse. Makes sense. All that moaning & shrieking back in the day would have been a damn good way for enemies to know one of the most vulnerable times to attack.
