Because there is no scripture to show trans people like me are a sin for this. You can't stop us. I transitioned on the hormones part luckily when I was around 12 13. If so I'd not been able to, id be depressed badly I know but others would of only put off the inevitable of me being the girl I am in heaven one day. Saying it's sin, spewing hate does not keep me or others out of heaven one day. It doesn't make my brain act male like some might want. I'm a woman.
Religiously speaking, it's best explained as blaspheming against God. Insofar as He created you a specific way, and claiming to be otherwise is like saying that He made a mistake. Which goes against the belief that God doesn't make mistakes. It entails that you think you know better about the entirety of creation to make that claim even about yourself. That is a sin.
However, there's no dispute that anyone can be in Heaven. At least from a catholic perspective, which I speak from. There have been numerous saints who said that we can't know for sure who will be heaven. That many will be surprised in knowing who is there and who isn't. Which I agree with, actually. To many people, in my opinion, assume they know what God will do or won't do, are quick to condemn others to hell or whatever but y'know, what makes them think they won't be there too.
However, a big part of getting there, Heaven that is, is asking for forgiveness for sins committed. So you kinda have acknowledge them first. And claiming to be something else than God intended is blaspheming. Therefore a sin.0 0 0 0That's a big lack of understanding dysphoria and trying hard to call it sin.
Look, there's the science talk and the religious talk. I answered from one religious perspective. There are many more, but I don't know what they'll say. I'm not versed in them. But even from a religious perspective, explaining the source of a sin from a religious perspective, doesn't cut it, I'll be honest. In many ways you have to ask yourself... assuming you get in front of God one day and he asks you to explain yourself - plenty of religions believe in having your judgment day and having your "day in court", so to speak - it wouldn't pass mustard to tell the dude who created everything that he was ignorant about what dysphoria means. Personally, I'd feel fucking silly. See? I just swore there. Not supposed to do that If I were so inclined to go to confession - which I'm not - I'd confess that sin. For all I know you're more likely to go to heaven than me. But I don't think it's hate to point it out. It's kinda like you see a friend walking towards a ditch, you'd warn them before they end up in there. Of course, they're free to listen to you or not.
*from a medical perspective, doesn't cut it. Sorry.

I don't know that it is a sin to God, who said that? Jesus sat down with "sinners" and those whom were left out of society destitute... He cared for them, that's what makes him different. He didn't judge them, when they asked for help, he gave it, and still does. Frankly, he found it more difficult to deal with rich people.
I've had enough issues in life to say, a lot of issues are emotional. They may be hormonal, and could be genetic. This "trans thing" seems to be a disease of integrity... mind, body, spirit are not in synch. By that I mean, the person is in a state of "dis-ease"... not comfortable with themselves. Given the situation, they decide to change their body, since it seems so hard to change the mind. The body and mind are out of order.
What I don't understand is the hormonal and emotional component of this. Why is the answer only "change the body"?
We ALL have issues and problems, not all of them are sins. I thought it was a sin to feed "junk" food to children at church... to me it is... they are defiling the body of innocent kids. And who knows what kind of screwed up hormones and pesticides and such are in the food we are feeding them, which may alter their sense of who they are. For we know that human beings are 10x more bacteria than cells! Could it be... we are hurting ourselves?
I don't see that as a sin... not as yet, but I'll leave that up to your mind and heart. God is still love and still loves you. He loved me when I was a mess, loves me now and I'm not perfect. I want to be better so I can do more good for God, that's really what the focus should be on... serving God, achieving your best life.
However, some people are not going to accept you. People are more rigid than God.
0 0 0 0I like how you worded it. Like it's a mystery it seems to you on what it means inside for people like me but you didn't hate. Thank you!
That's correct. We're all a bit of a mystery. Once you get out of your own stuff and start to look at other peoples stuff, you'll see how we are all different and others have substantial issues they are not exposing. When you look at a church body of people... we are all perfect... but damaged as well. Most of what church deals with is emotionally damaged people. That alone, takes a lot of energy to fix. Most people sitting in the seats at church, are quite damaged... and don't know it. They accept themselves rather than change. It's not so different than your scenario. But the challenge for you, and maybe what becomes your super power in effect, is that you are judged by others and maybe feel outcast (shame?) when their issues are masked and they aren't judged as much.. e. g. we accept divorce, or even murderers. So you'll have to learn to love and compassion and forgiveness in ways others don't. That will give you emotional abilities others don't have when you rise above the challenges. I'll repeat, a lot of issues are emotional... what happens in the womb through early development years is highly impactful to a persons view of themselves and often flawed. That is the source of a lot of issues. Good luck to you on your path!
1. No such thing as sins, heaven, hell, souls, angels, demons, gods, etc. it's all made up.
2. Hormones cannot change the gender of a human (or any other mammal) after birth, though it can do so for some amphibians, fish, and reptiles, as well as some invertebrates.
3. Surgery cannot (at least currently) change the gender of a human, though I imagine in the future, complete sex organ transplants might occur, with unknown rates of success.
4. There is no male or female way of thinking, just stereotypes around it based on cultural norms. You can think however you wish with whatever genitals you already have, and the act that you thought the way you did as a male, proves that males think that way, thus also proving its not an exclusively female mentality.
5. By disagreeing with number 4, you are proclaiming that any man or woman who does not fit your mental stereotyping, is not the gender their genitals show they are, and in that sense, you are the one who is being illogical and judgmental. Stop putting people in boxes and start respecting individuality, otherwise no on is ever going to respect anything you say except crazy people and hypocrites.0 0 0 0

i'm a religious person but i have not read the entire Bible but based on the readings and teachinhs of Catholic Church durinh masses not once i remember that beinh gay or part of the lgbtq a sin. and we are ALL sinners and Gof will forgive you regardless of your sin.
tbh if let's say i'm part of lgbtq this is why i don't call myself a Sainy but yeah i think i will still have sexual relationship but my tactics will then be i will be faithful. in other words i will avoid sins but if there are unavoidables then you know itis what it is but you know i'm open to God's enlightenment.
God will never force you. if He want something to happen he will arrange things to make you come up with your senses but still it's all up to you.

6 13Sorry you have had such a hard time; I wish you the best going forward.
0 0 0 0Thank you! I appreciate it.
I've never even heard of being trans called a sin. I know the only thing my church told us was that god wasn't perfect and that we aren't perfect either.
0 0 0 0Because like the Bible, they made it up
0 0 0 0I believe in the bible. I believe in God, Jesus, angels and all. I dont believe trans is a sin.
We all sin, just most people don't like you lot LOL
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
Leviticus 19:28
You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.0 0 0 0This still doesn't show trans as a sin.
Modifying your body is a sin even tattoos but believe what you want, it got nothing to do with me LOL
So show scripture to prove trans is a sin.
Real Women can give Birth, Bible is Not Pro-LGBT, Trans Surgeries are a Modern Thing.
0 0 0 0This proves nothing. Trans is not the same as gay. Try again.
And you are not a telepath like God and Jesus are to know what I am. You are judging.
It's the same as woman thinking that she is a cat, you born as a male, god wanted so.

Sheer lack of humility and self-doubt.
Who am I to judge other people? I have my own "sins". I have my own flaws. I have no right to pass judgement on anyone else when it comes to how they live their life.
And yet... plenty of folks who think they have the right to pass judgement on other people. Because they never doubt themself for a second and they think they're always right and never question themselves for a moment.
Narrow-minded and can't see past the end of the nose on their face.
1 1 0 0good points. I believe some desert wandering fella said "let him who is without sin cast the first stone [at a woman they said was sinning]." and to not judge or you will be judged. The Bible is a sticky wicket sometimes... and for good reason.

0 0 0 0Honestly I don’t think there are many people that want to make decisions for you nor do they want to be able to prevent you from doing what you feel is best for you, but people also don’t want to be bombarded with non stop lectures about pronouns. I don’t speak for everyone obviously, but I also think that people don’t like it when their kids go to school to learn how to read, write, add and subtract in first grade and are instead being taught that person A can be a boy one day with she her pronouns and the next day be a girl with he him.
People shouldn’t be treated poorly or as less than anyone else, but don’t expect special treatment and different sets of rules. And no people aren’t supposed to tell you whether or not you go to Heaven and last I checked we’re all sinners. So do your thing and quit paying so much attention to social media because most really don’t care what you do because they’re living their own lives.0 0 0 0I am interested in knowing more - especially if you are the trans type interested in sexual inteecourse/relationship with a cis male.
Have met two lovely and very cute and sexy girls recently who I think are both trans, but did. not get to chat to them nor to more than hint at beinf sexually interested - whether in vaginal, or, as I suspect is their ultimate preference - anal sex (with kissing and being properly into it).0 0 0 0I just call you mentally ill.
1 0 0 0Which is a sin in its own to say.
It's never a sin to tell the truth.
Except it's not the truth. Be grateful.
Who gives a shit about what the Bible or Quran says about you. You’ve decided that your a female and intend to live your life a such. Live a purpose driven authentic life and most importantly be true to YOU!.
have a happy and prosperous new year 🥳
0 0 0 0I care what the bible says but I just dysphoria was never mentioned.
It isn’t no, however most Christian people hate trans people. You don’t fit nicely into their black and white 6000 year old word.
It is about time religious people should shut the fuck up.
0 0 0 0This comes to mind:

“He who is without sin can cast the first stone”?
We do not accuse others unless we first thoroughly search our own hearts and minds to make certain that we are pure in every possible aspect (Matthew 7:3). Also, if we must admonish someone, we should do so as instructed in Scripture; we always look to God’s glory and never cause unnecessary division or harm (Matthew 18:15), but we do work to keep the church pure. Moreover, Jesus was the only sinless person in the temple scene, and, instead of condemning the woman, He looked ahead to His work on the cross and offered her life. Likewise, we should use every possible opportunity to forgive and to reach out with the gospel and the love of Christ, always remembering that we, too, are sinners in need of the Savior (Romans 3:23).
To those who label you as a sinner, I refer them to the above. But as difficult as it is when attacked, we must also try to do the same where possible.
0 0 0 0I love you how you are!
0 0 0 0Why Force People To Accept You As You Are When You Can't Accept Yourself The Way You Were Born? You Are A Man, You Have XY Chromosomes And No Uterus, Women Have XX Chromosomes And A Uterus...
0 0 0 0Seriously, chromosomes is not what I go off of. I accept myself, just not like society demands I do.
Society Makes No Demands... The Only Problem Is Not Accepting Yourself As Is, And Then Get Mad When People Don't Accept You Trying To Be The Opposite Sex, Which You Will Never Be... You Are Who You Are, They Way You Were Born, Learn To Accept Yourself And Just Maybe Others Will Accept You... And Chromosomes Are A Fact Of Life And They Cannot Be Changed...
Because there isn't one. I'm bored of religious people interfering with others life.
0 0 0 0Instead of realizing how much happier I am, some attack me. Religion is fine to me, its people attacking and controlling is what I'm tired of.
Oh believe me i went through so much crap in my life, can't imagine yours. If you wanna vent im here cuz i gotta vent too lmao.
Probably because it wasn’t known yet
0 0 0 0The only sin is asking tax payers to fund it.
0 0 0 0I am strongly against taxes being used to fund it.
It's a sin to have sex with the same gender. Your DNA is male, so you are male.
0 0 0 0Another who fails to understand gender dysphoria has nothing to do with homosexuality. That and dna is not what I think with.
