Why can’t my boyfriend understand that I don’t feel my best if I’m not waxed?

I get waxed and when the pandemic started and everything closed down I went like 3 weeks without having sex with my boyfriend until I caved in and only had sex with the light off. Obviously the place is back open. I’ve been going to her for years and she’s moving to another state…. My boyfriend is upset since I haven’t had sex with him in a week but I don’t feel my best when I’m not waxed it has nothing to do with him.
