I feel like I can get aroused by literally anything sexual... so I can't understand this. How can men see two people doing something sexual, and not get aroused?

Arousal in men and women is very different. Women tend to get more aroused by sexual activity. To the degree that gender doesn't matter. Just sounds can stimulate women.

Men tend to get more aroused from the sight of women. The actual activity being observed is less important than whether they are attracted to a subject. These observations have been observed in Various psych tests.

So, since gay porn doesn't contain any subjects that would arouse a straight man, the activity doesn't really matter.

I think if a guy gets aroused by gay porn he sees himself as being gay, so to make sure he's not gay he makes sure he doesn't get hard watching gay porn. That said I think if most people were honest (with themselves and others) what really turns people on is seeing or making other people aroused, I don't think the sex of the person actually matters that much.
