Guys, why can you not find the balls to defend yourself against a woman?

As in your girlfriend or wife controls your relationship or marriage. You let her wear the pants in the marriage. WHY are men becoming so scared of the women you love? I do not wear the pants in any relationship. I always let my partner have a say. But as in some situations I have seen or been in. The woman is in control of your life, money, children and most importantly the sex. So why are men afraid of their partners? Did we lose our balls or something?

The real question here is not about men, it's about women. Why are so many women today so manipulative, controlling and selfish? That is the problem, not the men who have to deal with those women.

I think this why there seems to be a high volume of people avoiding marriage and struggling with dating. I don't see it as man problem... I mean there are weak guys out there for sure.

I just think men these days are conditioned to accept a higher volume of bull shit from women... especially from their SO. I think this has always been the natural state of things.

But it is all out of whack today, because woman expect to have equal say about everything, whereas most men are fine not having any say about most things as long as she is happy and she respects him as a man. But how often does that happen for most men? For me, I rarely if ever have found or find a woman those respects me as a man first, and lover and then partner. Seriously, I am not joking.

We live in a very emasculated world today... honestly society as a whole does not celebrate masculinity or the virtues traditionally assigned to men. And when men try to make any statement about it, we called are down for being sexist or homophobic.

Then you got a whole generation of boys, being raised by single mothers, who believe they don't need a man to do anything for them. Which why they probably found themselves with kids and no man in the picture anyway. So yeah, you can turn on the TV and see all these athletes and things, but society by and larger does not promote positive male role models. And large number of young men are being raised in homes without a father, and the woman would say that's the father's fault... so there is no positive male role model in the household for these boys or girls honestly.

But you seldom see woman taking any responsibility for the failing in woman... like why couldn't she find a good man? And generally accepted answer is because men are wrong somehow, controlling and processive.

how does a single mother teach her son to be a man, and what to expect from a woman... when she does not even have a man.

I was afraid in my marriage mainly because my wife controlled my working hours and on two occasions talked to my bosses that it was unacceptable to make a father of young kids work long hours. It was in those "crisis" situations you can sometimes have in an office job, not on a going base, but she really ruined my standing at work. l and endangered my job.

She would use this threat against me continously, arguing that it was for my own good and that of our children. Partially I agreed as I wanted to be with my kids in the early evening as well, which again made it harder to assert myself.

Anyway, we have been separated fot two years, the kids are one adult and one teenager by now and I feel much better.

I will not allow my girlfriend to control me like that. Fortunately, she is a different type. My boss already knows her, but she would never interfere in the work.

Why do so many women allow their husbands / boyfriends to assault and abuse them? Why do you not have the wherewithal to defend yourself or just leave the abusive relationship? Sounds like victim blaming, doesn't it?

There is a victim and a perpetrator in both scenarios. Isn't it interesting how women like you see the woman as the victim, and the man as the lesser person in both?
