  • That really depends on the position you're in. In most positions, gravity will cause the semen (which is mostly liquid water) to flow out and down. If you don't want that to happen, lie on your back with your legs raised. The semen will then flow farther inside you, into your uterus, and your body will absorb almost all of it.

    Hint: That legs-up position is one of the positions recommended if the woman wants to get pregnant. It sometimes works... my ex-wife did that and one of our sons was conceived that way.
