  • It is important to note that not all Christians engage in premarital sex, and personal beliefs and practices can vary widely among individuals and denominations.

In general, Christian teachings promote sexual purity and abstinence before marriage, with the belief that sexual intimacy is a sacred and meaningful act that should be reserved for the marriage relationship. However, the reality is that many people, including Christians, may struggle with sexual temptation and may make choices that do not align with their beliefs or values.

There are also a variety of cultural and societal factors that can influence sexual behavior, including peer pressure, media messages, and changing social norms. It is important for individuals to make their own choices regarding their sexual behavior, while also being mindful of the potential consequences and the impact on their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

  • There is nothing in the Bible that says you can't have sex before marriage. The institution of the church came up with that, but it doesn't come from the Bible.

Also, just because someone proclaims to be a certain religion doesn't mean they adhere to it, especially not in the strictest ways. There are a lot of people who claim to be Christian, but have not been to church, have not read the Bible, and have not prayed for twenty years.

  • All Christians are flawed humans who sin every day. Do you think that saying "I am a Christian" is tantamount to saying, "I lead a perfect life?" My church is filled with nothing but sinners!

  • I have a hunch that it has more to do with the fact that they are humans, not with the fact that they are christians. But that's just a hunch, I might be wrong.

  • Because being a Christian doesn't make anyone perfect. And because being a Christian doesn't remove human urges and horniness.

  • Because they like sex.
