Picture showing is for bragging rights or to be higher on the social ladder for the guy. I think most guys like girls and have no problem if they like sex for obvious reasons. The reason that gets judged, (negative) about multiple partners is that you are too quick to bounce from one guy to the next and comes with a bad rap like no one guy is good enough for you.

If it makes you feel any better, girls like me get judged too. We're called prudes and are accused of being stiff and boring. Then guys dare each other to find out how far we're willing to go. It's kind of scary.

@Bandit74 I really think your response to that myTake could be expanded into a myTake itself. Since I read it, my thinking on the whole subject became remarkably clearer. Every time I see a question come up that has even passing similarity to what this asker has inquired, it is your response to that myTake that immediately comes to mind. I would like it if girls understood the basic truth that you so clearly delineated. That way they could make their choices as they see fit but not be surprised by any consequences.

Judging someone is just a natural instinct of being human. You size people up all the time when you look at them, but people tend to be harsher on peers and people who fit into their dating or competition zone.

All in all, if someone thinks badly of you, you probably don't need them in your life anyway.

By this I mean not everyone does but a lot of people regardless of gender or race like to judge other people.

Guys get judged for that too, I work with guys who are players and those that are monogamous (like me) and the non-promiscuous guys despise the ones that have a new girl every week. Girls also dislike guys who sleep around a lot. How many women do you know want to date a guy that has "side-bitches"?

Liking sex is normal since everyone likes it, judging others on that is stupid. However, in society we all have standards and social norms. Deviating from conformity will always bring judgment. Monogamy is the norm in many work societies, especially the US. That's just how it is, bad or good.

At the end of the day, as log as those judging you aren't being hypocritical by doing the same things, I didn't see the issue. Humans judge and everyone thinks their lifestyle is the best. Learn to ignore deconstructive criticism.
