We are all animals and driven by basic instincts, and the fact of the matter sex primary purpose is reproduction. And before modern medicine younger women are more likely to be able to bare children.
It all is a numbers game.. back several hundred years ago almost 40% of children died before the age of 3. And the leading cause of death in women was child birth, and the chance of death skyrockets the older she is. So men adapted to find youthfully women more attractive because that's what needed to happen to actually successfuly have a family to carry on

Because apparently a lot of guys don't like it, and/ or a lot of girls see it as less feminine? Same as shaving the legs and armpits. Guys can be seen as feminine if they do shave actually, and a beard is considered more manly. The social stigma around hair is still huge in at least America today, and it's basically hair anywhere except your head = masculine. Shaving anywhere besides beard = feminine. At least from my experience that's the impression I get.

My wife also got that impression and it took me literally years of talking to her and convincing her step by step to finally stop shaving. She wasn't even doing it because she liked it better, it was just because of what her past partners had told her. I like natural though and at least wanted her to make the decision for herself after trying both. She still shaves her armpits now but that's about it, except if she's gonna go swimming then she still shaves her legs.

At one point I had to start shaving some myself as a sort of swap so she would try not shaving, and I don't know why people do it. It takes a long time and the only benefit I noticed was when I shaved my arms and I accidentally got varnish on my arm at work again, I didn't have to get it off like I normally do which feels like waxing and leaves a spot on my arm. But that was sort of a win/ lose situation because I still had a spot on my arm it was just of the varnish instead of a bald spot, because I couldn't get the damn stuff off because it wasn't just on the hair that time. Also I got a bit of skin irritation from the sawdust, which normally didn't happen. It wasn't bad but it itched. I ended up just wearing long sleeves for that month. It was hot though. Although I did notice that right after I shaved my arms were cooler, so I think if I hadn't worn long sleeves it would have been cooler. So I guess that's a benefit. I'd still rather not shave though.

I just think people should decide for themselves instead of being peer pressured into it by everyone else. That seems to happen all the time now. They should try it both ways and pick their favorite. That makes sense right?

Because of the myth that it is not sanitary. Also women don't want to stick out from the rest so they start early so they won't be different from the other girls who have no hair yet.
