Why do I only attract guys that aren't my age?

Im 16 and im omnisexual. I've never been in a relationship and I've been trying to date for a while. I've never met anyone, weather they were female, non binary, etc who were attracted to me. Its always only been men/boys, which is fine but they've never been my age.

Like in the past few months I've been asked out 3 times by strangers online, they were 29, 20 and 14. Like its never anything other than pedos and horny little preteens.

Anyway, anyone have an explanation or dating tips or anything like that?

My guess is you spend a lot of time online, where the odds of someone being exactly your age are low, vs creating dating opportunities in real life, where people tend to be close in age.

this may be exasperated by being in niche subcultures that mean a small number of people in say your high school would be compatible whereas you can find plenty online.

it will - probably- be easier if you hit university though if you go to a liberal arts school they tend to have a high female to male ratio.

of course it’s also possible you could be doing more to be a little more attractive and so are only picking up random super thirsty guys.

14 isn't even that much younger. If your age range is only 16-17, it will be hard to find someone, obviously. Also, "omnisexual" is a ridiculous word. Just say you'd bang everything that belongs to our species. It's natural to attract people from all ages. It doesn't say anything bad about you, or that you're doing anything wrong. Some people will just hit on anything that moves
