Why do many men pretend to “support” prostitutes, camgirls and whores?

When we all know they won’t make these women as the mother of their children. I was talking to my guy friend who is a driver to some prostitutes. The way he talked about these women, as if he looks at them very highly and put them on pedestal. I remember he is not the only guy who does this, but there are a few more. The funniest thing is, when I joked to them asking them to marry these whores, their reaction changed lol. Some stopped talking to me because of that. I also said maybe one day you all can recommened your sisters to do the same for a living? Who knows she can get rich by that? Again, they showed me a super long tight face. Did I say anything wrong?

I don't support entering those careers without giving it a considerable amount of thought. It's a really polarising life choice and its going to severely restrict future options, in partners, professions etc... That being said, I don't judge them for being prostitutes or camgirls in and of itself. If they didn't give it any thought, I'd call them 'reckless' but not 'whores' or any other condescending term. I don't find that's really anything to be condemned morally. There are far worse career choices in my opinion.

Honestly, in most cases I don't think I'd want to date them and here's why:
There are a couple of scenarios, 1. The girl has no other options, was forced into it, 2. The girl just finds its easy money does it for quick cash, 3. The girl genuinely loves it, it's her passion.
Ok so for number 1, unfortunately I think a terrible experience like that would completely destroy her. So if she's still dealing with it, I'm certain that's going to come with a whole range of issues. And I don't know about my ability to support her or relate to that in any meaningful way. And I don't think I'd obviously make the best partner for her or her for me. I feel like there would be a gap which would cause trouble over the long term.
Now if she got through it, and it was something in her past that she overcame, maybe there would be more room for us to have something. I think this one is more realistic, though I think experiences like that leave you scarred for life and you may never truly get 'over' them. But if she had everything I wanted in a long term partner, I think this would be the more realistic scenario.
For 2, she's just taking the easy way out. Now it could be one of two things, she's just in it for the cash, no consideration for the future, no real passion, just getting easy money cause it's easy money. That's a combination of traits I am certainly not looking for in a long term partner so definitely a big phat NOPE.
But if she did it with a clear goal in mind and that was the most effective and efficient way to get where she wanted to go. Earn money to truly live out her passions, and she gave the possibility of future kids and how it might influence them some thought and had a logical thought out explanation for why she still thinks its the best route for her. Then yes, that's clearly someone who knows what they want, what they're doing and I can totally work with that.
For 3, that just wouldn't work out, because I couldn't be with a girl who's still actively in those professions. I want to be exclusive with my partner, this would make me jealous so it would be a straight up 'no way'. And if she had to give up her passion to be with me, that's a pretty huge sacrifice, so across the board, we just wouldn't be a good fit.

So there's a couple of conceivable scenarios where it would be OK. But for the most part I wouldn't want to date them or marry them. And it's not because being a prostitute or a camgirl is 'bad'.

To me porn stars and cam whores are different, because its possible to be those without making anyone pay for sex. A porn star or cam whore can make money off of ads by people clicking on their videos, the same way youtube makes its money.

I think you're overthinking it. The driver was a simp/cuck, and men can have a VERY STRONG separation between love and lust, where as with many women, they're intertwined. Men can very much sleep with women they don't like or even respect, if their bodies are attractive enough, where as many women wouldn't sleep with a guy they didn't like, respect, or liked or respected them.
