Why do men find girls the ages 14-18 to be the most attractive?

It seems like normal, healthy men all find women ages 14-18 to be most attractive. Men of all ages, old, young, middleaged all find girls of that age group most attractive.

    Having said that, there ARE men who prefer younger girls (it's especially common in lower-income-class areas - i. e., the ghetto, trailer parks, etc.), but this is the exception to the rule (excluding guys who are still relatively young themselves). I spent years doing service work in areas from the wealthiest to the poorest, and I've been able to observe a very wide range of behavior, and while I've seen bad behavior in all income classes, it was far more common to see it in poorer areas.

    Hell, I've overheard ghetto moms who were pretty obviously setting their teen daughters up on "dates" and negotiating prices for it - and that's not the worst thing either.

    But, when you pull back and look across the majority of the adult male population, 20-22 is the most desired age range for women.

    • A pedophile by definition is someone that find prepubescent children to be sexually attractive. Girls ages 14-18 aren't prepubescent, so it isn't pedophilia. However I have to admit I find it disturbing, but I can't hate men if they biologically are wired to find girls those ages the most attractive.

    • Well, for one, 18 is at least of legal age. So at least in that regard, it's more acceptable for men to be attracted to them. Personally, I even feel like 18 is still too young, though. I'm probably not the average, but I tend to think that any guy past a certain ago who's still lusting after teenagers is kind of creepy.

When I was 14, I wanted to improve my English and talked with people online, mostly the ones really wishing to talk with me a lot were men aged 25-55 and even though I truly believed they just wanted to be friends and help me with practicing English, most of them ended up trying getting sexual, asking me for photos, asking me for video calls, trying sexting with me. I was grossed out and for a long time believed older men are very gross, I remember one man telling me he loved me and lying to me as if he was 25 and I found out he was 52 years old, married with children older than mine. Thankfully I never responded to them sexually, but knowing that I was an object of their desire, grossed me out so much, I almost started hating all older men at that age.     In a lot of countries 16 is the age of consent but really few girls of that age have any maturity even though they can be physically mature. At 17 -18 a girl is in the peak of her youthful beauty. And they are often flirtatious and are mature.
