For a man, it’s different, men’s mating strategy has always been to mate with as many women as possible, to increase the number of offsprings, if you impregnate 100 women, there’s a chance at least 10 offsprings will survive even in ancient times. That’s a high reward for a man, woman though, has to be more careful.

I really think relationships should be an equivalent exchange of energy or as close to it as possible. Unfortunately there are some people who take advantage of the other person and I say people because I don't think it's gender specific. I've had some gay friends of mine really get taken advantage of by another man. I guess the trick is to try to be the best version of yourself and gain the courage to try again.
